One day after being handed a crushing defeat at The Bash, The Miz had an opportunity to not only get back at John Cena, but push himself one step closer to the WWE Title. Willing to avenge his humiliating defeat at "The Bash" a very motivated Miz dominates most of the fight putting John Cena in Jeopardy with series of big left hands, big boots, choke holds, neck breakers and several nearfalls which make even fans believing one time in his victory over Cena. But, despite an impressive showing from the self-proclaimed "chick magnet," Miz must have ended up feeling deja vu, however, as the 12 Rounds star racked up another victory...

THE MIZ CONFIDENT TO GET A WIN OVER CENA!

Miz came full steam ahead at Cena, planting his knee in Cena's guts, then hitting him with all sorts of kicks, using series of his powerful left to stun Cena in the corner. Cena came back with a reverse slingshot connected with a stand elbow, a hip toss and a slam and conclude with an elbow drop for a two count.

Cena slingshoted The Miz in the opposite corner but ate Miz's boot. Miz downed Cena onto the mat and pummelled him with series of powerful lefts to his skull. Then he caught Cena with a neck twisting, before Cena reversing a slingshot came roaring back with a big back body drop and a suplex for a two count.

Cena caught Miz in a headlock of his own but the Miz escaped in the corner and hit a super left hand which leveled Cena onto the mat and allowed him to retake the advantage. Miz gathered Cena and hit a big suplex for a two count.

Miz locked Cena in a headlock. Cena fighted back in force but the Miz was able to prevent Cena from breaking it by planting a knee in his gut. Miz hit a knee in Cena back, some punches and kicks then a big knee to the gut and connected with a reverse neck breaker for a two count.

Miz gathered the former champion pummelling Cena's chest with some lefts from behind, smashing Cena's napes with a big elbow, planting some shoulders into Cena's mid section in the corner and floored him with a big left hand in Cena's skull. Then a dominant The Miz pick up Cena to floored him again with another mighty left.

Cena reversed an Irish whip and sent Miz to the corner, but Miz avoided the bulldog completely and hung Cena up on the top rope. Then back in the ring he hit a running bach breaker and covered Cena for a third nearfall.

|
A dominant Miz began reigning in lefts hands on Cena and had to be pulled back several times by the official.
